Today we drove from Gunnison to Colorado Springs. We had some stunning views of the mountains as we made our way over the continental divide. ... say two things we didn't like: 1. Rich people like to look down on others. This place was crawling with people who thought they were better than everyone else. 2. Rich people won't pick up their own dog poo. The hotel had special suites that were "pet friendly" and there was also a pet boutique. We saw all sorts of people parading their pooches in designer dog gear. Very funny to see but evidently these people didn't always pick up their dog poop. I ...
... through Loveland and then got on I-25 south to 470 the Tollway Outerbelt of Denver. They took a picture of our license plate and we will get a bill in the mail for the toll. We don't know what it will be until it comes. Before long we saw the exit for the Airport and before we knew it we were dropping Erin off to fly home to Seattle.

Oops! It's been a while!
We've been following an itinerary where we sight-see in the morning to early or mid-afternoon, and then eat dinner back at the house followed by a movie and/or karaoke.
I'm not going to take the time to remember EVERYTHING that we've done right now (it was longer than I thought since my last entry).

... girls also experienced practicing grinding some corn (what the children would have been put to work doing at that time), and enjoyed coming home with an archery set, to practice with at their house...We picked up some pizza and headed to Tony's home that evening to see him and his family, also so Tony could argue a little bit of politics later that night (and clean up on movie trivia... ;)
