Karen at the front desk was very accomodating, she took our photos as we pulled in from cycling all day....room was clean, roomy, excellent shower and bath products available.
Defiantly would recommend this to anyone.....

... part of the day was difficult because Kansas is nothing but farmland from it's Eastern border to the Western border. The temp rose to 35 and the wind was relentless. It appeared we were driving on an angle all day. The day changed when we stopped at the last town before the border to Colorado. It was the small town of Coolidge. We decided to stop at a small cafe but when we pulled up in the shade, a man ...

We tried to talk to Byron, but we didn't see ...
... and chose America's Best Value Inn, we've stayed in a few now and they've all been ok but the main reason for choosing this one was the pool. Most outdoor pools at the motels haven't been open yet as its not high season so we've been teased by them a bit but this one had an indoor pool. I was desperate for a swim and Gareth even said he'd come in for a splash. The room is pleasant enough, as usual but I'm getting slightly annoyed by the lack of proper lighting in these places. I know ...
