          ... achievements was to set aside a 40 mile long seashore preservation zone up the eastern side of the Cape as far as Provincetown which is almost at the tip.This provides general access to unspoiled beaches, dunes, and salt marshes.           Left Gloucester on Tuesday morning and sailed to Scituate Harbor late. Had to motor a good distance. The wind just wasn't in our favor and we had to get there before dark. Good think because as soon as we picked up the mooring, lightening and thunder began so we put up the Bimini , a cover over the cockpit so we could stay on deck.
