    Sweet Home Alabama!

It's been a long day (I've been up for 24 hours!) but we are home safe and sound. The trip was absolutely amazing in every way and I'm so thankful for the opportunity, but now I'm ready to sleep for about three days. Thanks for following the blog; good night and God ...

4:30am comes awfully early, but we're excited to be underway! Even the kids are excited, and with teenagers, that never happens! It was a roller coaster of stress when we thought it was a major issue then hoped that it was only something small. Thinking that we had fixed the problem, Dad and I set off for Memphis, via Chattanooga, on Monday morning. The confidence reigned on until we stopped at a look out just before Chattanooga ...

... lunch. Interestingly enough the guy who checked me in told me he had never heard of a Canyon Star before and then we realized that we are parking right next to one. Funny. This is a very small campground, seems to be very quiet, graveled sites, apparently good Wi-Fi and a great place for an overnight travel stopover.

We don’t have cable but we have no obstructions so our Dish connected easily. Maybe we ...
