    ... articulate.
    They met Dottie Metcalf Lindenberger. Their name patches were removed and pinned back on so that their name was written the right way up.
    After the ceremony the students stayed with their team until 4pm. I went back to the education Centre and rested.
    Went to airport.
    Flight cancelled.
    Stayed at hotel.
    Caught flight next day.

    ... out of the hula hoop on the floor.
    The bottle rolled at least 2 m longer than any other rover in the competition! Our team won that challenge.
    Chris presented his design of our mission patch.
    We met Dottie Metcalf Lindenberger. Awesome speech.
    Trouble staying awake.

    ... the Ground Command Centre for all activities during orbit) so they were all there for a conference the next day. There were dozens of engineers and all totally obsessed with their work.

  • After tea we shared souvenirs. I now have a lot of hat buttons!
    Took lots of selfies and partied on while watching NASA TV.

    • Went straight to the final Mission - Moon Landing. Great pilot Amanda from Gerogia - was always 3 steps ahead - very clever lady! We launched beautifully and flew into Earth's orbit. Heading to moon and had a major glitch with the simulator software - as it was supposed to give us 'anomalies' or problems to solve. The software kept aying "illegal entry" to every switch we threw, so we could not follow the flight plan, but skip forward 7 days to the moon and then lift ...

    Day 3

    • Started the day with Mission Training. I was awarded Commander of the Orion Orbiter, (proud moment) which takes off from Earth then orbits the moon. I have a pilot and three crew. The crew leave the orbiter and fly a lunar module to the surface of the moon. It is very realistic as we have the panels and switches that resemble the design of the Orion which NASA has already commenced building.
