... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view. We drove to Fort Worth to the Stockyards. The Stockyards began as a stopover on the Chisholm Trail in the late 1800s. It was the last gathering point for all the Texas cows before entering Indian country on the way to Abilene, KS. After the 1880s when cows began moving by rail, Fort Worth and the stockyard became a center of the meat packing industry. Both Swift and Amour had very large plants here. ...

... We left the game with 5 minutes to go, with Philadelphia leading by 8. We managed to see the Cowboys score another Touchdown on the big screen on the concourse outside. We walked to the bus stop in the freezing cold but thankfully we didn't have to wait long for the hotel shuttle bus to pick us up. A 5 minute drive back to the hotel, a cup of coffee, something to eat and it was off to ...
