We visited the cornpalace which unfortunately was being redone and continued through Sioux Falls and Sioux City to Nebraska where we found a nice little town called Decatur. We spent the night in Onawa across the river. Nevertheless we returned to Decatur for dinner at the Green Lantern Steak ...

Along this route lots of Sunflower fields and the most round hay bales I have ever seen in one area! Stopped off at the rest area near chamberlain SD for lunch. Beautiful views of the Missouri River here as well as a cool exhibit about Lewis & Clark. Stayed the night in Sloan Iowa. ...

Sioux City... Actually North Sioux City which is in South Dakota as opposed to Sioux City which is in Iowa and South Sioux City which is in Nebraska. We were in all threes states within ten minutes time. We went to the Sergeant Floyd River Boat and learned much about Sergeant Floyd the Lewis and Clark expedition. Craig heard there was a candy shop downtown so we had to go the Palmer's Old Tyme Candy Shoppe and buy a bag full!
