Defuniak Springs is close to Pensacola. I rode US 331 south to US 98 West through Miramar Beach, Destin and Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola. After a few miles NW on H-290 we found a Love's Truck Plaza in Waller, TX ...

... property was beautiful and expansive. I took a picture of the motor home through the trees near the welcome center building and thought it looked pretty cool.

I walked toward the welcome center and noticed a sign that read "NO PETS WITHIN 100 FEET OF BUILDING." That is weird. I have never seen a sign like that before. Maybe they don’t allow pets in the building, but within 100 feet? I guess people are welcome, but pets aren’t.

... hangers were magnificently adorned with every type of plane you can imagine. There was a POW corner containing a welcome home for them after Vietnam, uniforms provided, notes and poems written in isolation and escape material. There was a small women's area with video interviews and uniforms of of flight nurses. There was recent art work brought back from current deployments but the main centre was about the jets and planes. There are too many to list and we both took so ...
