Today is the last day of a week in Foley, AL while at the Florida Travelcade Club rally. It has been a fun week with good friends and lots of food and drinks. We went to the Foley Shrimp Festival, the road kill cafe, Jimmy Buffett's sister's restaurant called Lulu's and a number of other places that I can not remember the names of, ...

He was back quicker than expected, so that Eric and I ended up only seeing the front of the Mardi Gras House. We checked out of the hotel and headed straight for the USS Alabama. We stopped in Brandon where we bought discounted tickets for Busch ...

I walked toward the welcome center and noticed a sign that read "NO PETS WITHIN 100 FEET OF BUILDING." That is weird. I have never seen a sign like that before. Maybe they don’t allow pets in the building, but within 100 feet? I guess people are welcome, but pets aren’t.

... intimidated by the responsibility and pressure that comes with the job of being ship's captain.
After developing a case of plantar fasciitis while in Orlando (too many hours of walking in the cold rain with flip flops?), Chaaya was hobbling through Sneads and Mobile. But she fought through her pain to ensure that she didn't miss a thing at the USS Alabama, despite the many staircases and ladders she needed to negotiate: a clear testament to how impressive this site was. ...
