      We started our day with a trip to Salisbury Beach. I loved the tall grasses and the fences half buried in sand. Mike of course loved seeing and hearing the waves (such as they were) hitting the shore.

      ... and cruised the river for just under an hour seeing the same sights from a different perspective. Next we got back on the bus to see a few more of the sights, driving over the river and past Fenway park where the Boston red socks were playing baseball tonight.       ... we walked downtown-about 1 miles in the cold and barely any stores open just after 5 pm. Cold out! Back home to change and go to Napi’s for dinner. This is our favorite place here. Napi was there and he knows Phil. He bought a book since last year and said he, and half of the town have read it! Back home to talk with Tony and Rose.       ... early but gave us time to sort out printing our train tickets and accommodation for Florida. We now have everything booked right through to Mexico :) Got the train back to Boston and had to get the metro and a bus to our hostel - the guy at reception was very helpful and showed us the orange paint that leads back to the metro on the pavement.       ... several other parade viewers so had a good time. After parade we wandered into town hoping to see Johnny Shoe, but he had just left moments before we arrived! Stopped by Strago’s and talked to a guy Phil knew also—A busy day.
