      We started our day with a trip to Salisbury Beach. I loved the tall grasses and the fences half buried in sand. Mike of course loved seeing and hearing the waves (such as they were) hitting the shore.
      Our next stop was Gloucester were the y have a great monument to all the sailors lost at sea. There is a second one of a woman and her children waiting ...

      ... Blue man Group, but not performing today, so then walked to the Common and had soup at Panera Bread. More walking, at least a couple of miles, maybe more. A stop at a CVS for Aleve for me and back to the Custom House. It is a cold biting snow now but not much sticking.       He seems to think it is up to him what I do and that he will ‘have’ to do the work. I think it is time to fire him—when I leave next summer. The yard is now like a fresh palette and I have some ideas. We stayed home till late and then out to dinner at Sabatino’s – we were the only people in the bar! Empty place tonight.

      We checked out of our room this morning and left our bags with the owner in his reception, we had asked him to ring a taxi for us but he offered to drive us himself as it was only a five minute journey.       ... not get up till almost 10 am! Had breakfast and I was to stay home today while Phil went to the beach - My day to my self- but it began to rain and is predicted to do so for the next 10 or so days!!!!!! No beach today so we both stayed home and I did get some of the things I had planned done.
