    ... It is winter here as well, so there aren't any leaves on the trees or wildflowers to see, but the river is pretty. Kerrville is centrally located for the places we want to see while we are here, such as Fredericksburg, a German community and home to the Museum of the Pacific War, LBJ ranch, San Antonio and possibly Austin. We are excited about this leg of our journey as neither of us has been here before. Stay tuned......Cheers!
