    After four long days of driving, we have arrived in the Texas Hill Country where we will stay for a week. Our travel days were just that, travel. We stayed in Deming, New Mexico the first night after leaving Tucson, then Van Horn, Texas the second night and a place called Sonora Caverns outside Sonora, Texas last night.     ... we saw deer everywhere! The place is over run with deer. We saw more deer here than at any other place. Unfortunately, they haven't gotten the whole crossing-the-road skill down. On one of our rides around the area we saw a herd of about 25 - 30 deer. We pulled off of the road and watched them in the field for a bit, they weren't terribly impressed with us.
