    ... special visitors who spent the night at his house, such as the King and Queen of England, were ever aware of his paralysis. In his study in this house he met with Winston Churchill to devise the Manhattan Project, later known as the nuclear bomb which ended the war after his presidency!The presidential library was fantastic and we learnt a great deal about this man and American history in general.

    So here we go...We've resurrected the MountainGirlz travel blog six years after making this same cross-country trip, but this time in reverse and the twinkies are now the same age as Mara was when we did this last time.     ... at least as nice as the stadium in Richmond, which was built for a AAA team. Alas, this means they are trying to pay for it, and the prices match. (Of course, the prices could just be NYC prices.) Tickets were $16 each--should have been $17 but they gave us a buck off for who knows why. Dinner cost nearly $30 for hot dogs and hamburger; we paid $34, I believe, in Houston at a major league game. Parking was $5. $55 for two ...
