... up and down the hills of Malibu and 15 obstacles. I have been told to not to believe a word of it. Could be 3,4,5 miles with as many as 20 obstacles. The Spartan race started 5 or 6 years ago by an ex Wall Street guy who wanted to come up with something out of the ordinary that would challenge him and his friends. From there it just took on a life of its own. 300 races a year in over 60 ...
... I have had one of the best times ever here. The start of greater things to come. At least I hope so!
The big question is where to next? Well, Ellie and I are planning to explore Ireland next year. In fact, we should probably get organising that. If, of course, Ellie can bear to put up with me as we wander round Ireland!!
Anyway, enough for now. And I need some lunch before I go.

... the rats pizza...but on my walk back to Grand Central I did go over on my ankle and fall over on the crosswalk! Whoops! Whilst my poor little hand wasn't too happy, I did smile thinking "well I didn't jump onto the subway, but I have just fallen over on a crosswalk in busy Manhattan..." On the plus side I made it to my train with 7 minutes to spare and sat back for the next 50 minutes.

... in this town (1783-1859). You might have heard of (or even read) "Rip Van Winkle" and his even more famous book "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". This "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" was the reason for our wanting to visit the town.
When we started looking into things to do in Sleepy Hollow, we were surprised by what we found.
