As we approached Exit 18, I got butterflies in my stomach and my pulse began to race. Poughkeepsie was only about 20 minutes from the NY Thruway and I envisioned seeing my friends and reuniting with them, even if it was for only a few minutes. Mom and I got gas, paid tolls, and I started calling: Tom, Peter, Amber, and Colleen, until Mom began to message them. It turned out that ...

More shortly. When I have made my way to Tarrytown and have something interesting to say. Oh boo, the train was only 5 minutes late but now it is 5-10 minutes late! Time to put my pandas on. Now I feel I should explain myself. Plus I have a Jasper related story that goes with it. But ...

... to see Emily and catch up with how she is doing.

Overall, this was another great trip. We REALLY had a fun time entertaining our inner child, exploring historic sites and celebrating Halloween in a really neat place! The story of Sleepy Hollow really comes to life when you visit this place. It was fun to walk around and identify areas, buildings and people that were mentioned in the book.

    Next up...Pennsylvania!

... I sat by the window, was shortly joined by a couple from canada. Very friendly, chatty people. :) At 11:40 we started boarding, my room was ready, so I went straight in. I have an inside cabin with queen bed, pretty nice. Once I read over the papers in the room I set out to explore the ship and find food. I did a quick walk around the decks, seeing what there was. Then I found the lido ...
