Our flight landed in Chicago and the airport is MASSIVE. My ticket was not clear on where the gate was, so I asked a woman when I got off the flight where exactly the gate for the departure of Dusseldorf was. She had a very strong accent and told me K55, which was SO far from where I was, but I said "Thank God for 2 feet" and walked for 30 mins across the airport with my bags.
