... home to the best pizza of Austin. We grabbed a pitcher of lone star and kicked backed and relaxed. I didn’t get to try any other pizza in Austin but this pizza was top notch so I guess I will take their word that it is in fact the best in Austin. After dinner we made our way to the popular night life of 6th street. Everywhere we walked promoters shouted their specials and tried to lure us in with all sorts of ...

... my life. A city that I got to be a travel nurse for the very first time, and with that a hospital that was more than just welcoming, a hospital that took me in as their own! I will definitely be missing Austin, but am excited for my next adventure. I applied for my next assignment a couple weeks ago. We get a free breakfast at this hotel in Austin but the cut off time is 9.30am, we had the alarm set at 9am but both fell back to sleep and didn't end up waking until 11.15am. Those late nights and not sleeping well in Hollywood had caught up with us and we just couldn't wake up. Once we did get up, having missed the free breakfast at the hotel, we went to the IHOP which is just across the car park from our hotel. IHOP stands for international house ...

    ... enjoy.
Sunday morning found us moving a bit slower than usual, but we had wine tasting plans and wanted to get moving. Of course when there is good BBQ en-route, a detour is mandatory and off we went to another great BBQ institution "Salt Lick BBQ" in Driftwood. After Q and wine tasting we found our way to our accommodations for the night, "Baron's Creekside", a wonderful group of cottages designed to look like a Swiss village. It was tough to leave this ...
