Some of the original furniture is still on display. They built things to last in those days.

Another section of the building contained a museum and what I would call a trophy room. Strange things you would not expect to find in a public government building. There was even a two headed cow.

I have to say one thing I have learned on this trip, and I know all of the hunters would have known this but I certainly ...

    1st Day out of Canada.

This is the day we're living on the edge. Not knowing how long Sioux's new hairdo would take we didn't know what time we would be leaving Canada. Our next stop is a small seaport village called Mystic in the New England area in Conneticut. A total of approx. 753 kms and 431 metres. These GPS things are very precise. ... fog. A little further east I had dinner of real New England fare at a seafood shack on the beach – fish and chips, clam rolls, clam chowder, and cole slaw. What they called clam rolls I’d be more inclined to call clam puffs or clam fritters, a deep-fried fluffy dough balls with some chopped clams in the batter. It was nothing like a New England lobster roll, which is what I expected it to resemble.

... cow years. I don't think I made it out for Labor Day firstie year but a couple weekends later I drove out after the football game for Aunt Sharon's birthday with Uncle Tom's family and Papou out there as well. The last time I went out was when we were preparing to close up the house after we sold it, which may have been MLK. weekend. I think that was the only time I've ever gone to North Sea in a ...
