Sad to leave New York. Feeling very comfortable in this vibrant town. Everyone is cool, friendly, caring and helpful. We have had a blast. Took a transfer out west to Newark in New Jersey to pick up a car - far enough from the New York traffic!. Another full day with lots of schools, new topography and sites to take in. Here we go.... U Conn: modern, large buildings, lots of offerings and diversity. Large campus, amazing athletics and top public business program in ...

On to San Francisco, the final leg of my holiday. Xxx PS Hi Sandra, don't worry about Juno being sad, he's got a few friends in the pool. He's there for a breeding program, although I think the lady said, as he's only 11, he's still a teenager in whale terms so nothing's happened so far... ...

... Memorial. For some reason I thought Doctor Seuss was from California, but for some reason his memorial is here in Springfield. The museums cover world art, the fine arts, Springfield history, science, and a Connecticut valley historical museum, well worth a stop. I then headed north to Amherst and Amherst College and Mead Art Museum, one of best small college art museums in New England, and one of rather few neither closed over summer nor closed for ...
