    ... on Middletown, I could see that there was a large, fast-growing storm cell just 3 miles away. We landed, got fueled, and hopped in the crew car to go get lunch. Right as we took our seats in the diner, the sky opened up with an incredible deluge, even more intense than the one that had hit us in Oshkosh. This storm lingered for almost 90 minutes, and we waited another hour and a half for the weather up towards New York City to improve.

    We arrived to the sleepy fishing town of Mystic early evening and after settling in at our motel we walked to the historic centre. Having been in NYC and Boston prior to this, Mystic's tranquility was very accommodating and as we wondered along the riverside encountering a few seafood shacks on the way the sunset was mesmerising.
