We took the Ocean Path Trail from Otter Point to Sand Beach. It was a beautiful hike of just over 2 miles along the rocky coast of the Atlantic Ocean. There were several coves and one place called Thunder Hole where the water comes into the rocks and bounces off the rocks making a sound just like thunder.

Who said this anyway? And why must it be so?? I supose the reality of the end of a wonderful adventure is not only inenviable but does leave one so grateful for haveing had the adventure and yet hopeful that there will be more to come.

Once we got to the dive spot, only about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor, Ed dived down to around 45 feet giving a commentary all the time through a 2 way transponder radio set. ... Specialised and Trek so once we parked up we went and had a look. ... handled well. I was in the front, so I got sprayed a good bit, but the water was really not very cold.

After changing into dry clothes at our campsite we headed into Bar Harbor for lunch at the "Thirsty Whale" where I had my first lobster roll and Kerry had fish and chips. Both were very good along with relaxing cold beers. Then we walked around town a bit and took the Shoreline Trail which provides a beautiful view of the harbor and town.
