... And during our roll through lovely south Memphis...we saw yet another...ROYAL INN! This one was no less a hellhole than all the others we've seen across the states and europe.

Tunica is about 30 miles south of Memphis. We drive south on route 61 and come to Harrah's Casino. Harrah's has a great campground, with a lodge, big screen TV room, pool table, swimming pool, laundry.......all the amenities! They keep it clean and ...

... I then took a nice ride around the edge of a State Park over a dam and then saw a sign that told me that the road surface (tarmac) ends. It was a T junction and I looked to the left and saw a gravel road, on the right which was the way I was going there was still tarmac. I smiled...A hundred yards on the tarmac ended and there was the nastyist gravel road you have ever seen! The gravel was over 2" ...

There are other DME special inclusions- a concert at Hopson Commisary, etc., but I am on my way back home after a very full 3 days. Ms. Marc drives me back to Memphis, where I find that the wi-fi doesn't work- boo! Another connection in Salt Lake, and I'm home without drama. There and back again.
