... when I received a notification that my plane was delayed, which would mean I would miss my connecting flight. It was just too much to deal with. I couldn't even check in yet, as I was too early. But I eventually got out of there and approached someone at the airline, who told me to come back in 10 minutes. Needless to say we made it to the top of our respective walls and had time to shop on the Wall. Of course the Chinese translation is The 10,000 km Long Wall.

Well, we have our Closing Ceremony tonight after dinner. We will wake up early to go to the Pearl Market on the morning and then head to the airport to come home!

... semester. I still talk with Sara, Karena, Mohini, Stephanie, Bethany, and a bunch of other people. Even this semester, I have met other great people, who invited me to visit them. Recently, my pal Emi had to leave Beijing, but I am excited to visit her in Chicago!

... a difficult time breathing and made me fell ill. It made me miss the clean air of Colorado. We finally found a noodle place. When we were ordering, the woman was speaking fast and kept talking to me. She assumed that I knew Chinese. The others had to order for me. It was nice to finally find bottled water.
