From the first day we heard about family stay, we were all so nervous and scared, we just thought what have we got ourselves into! From the first day we arrived we had this warm feeling that took all that negative thoughts we had away. I was so socked of how sweet, kind and generous Chinese people were, wish all Australian people were like this! *Face with tears of joy*

... of the stall came over and pointed out the Phone wouldn't work in Australia and we'd have to get a different one. Too much confusion at the end of a long, hot, humid day, so David received his money back and we plodded back to the hotel. After a shower and a rest, we wandered down to the hotel's restaurant for another pleasant meal - made more fun by trying to defeat the language barrier (with the help of another woman of unknown nationality who spoke some ...

... turtles and large fish swim right over your head. The aquarium is located very close to the famous Oriental Pearl tower, so from there we just wandered along, checking out the tall famous buildings and the famous skyline along the river. We took the ferry across the river to the Bund. The ferry is only 2 yuan per person, and it used to be local transportation for bikes and cars but now it ferries packs of tourists back and forth. After walking the Bund, we walked up the busy, ...
