... the canal, although sometimes a little smelly. Then off to the Soho Silk Museum. Walk through and see how they feed the worms, get the silk out of the cocoon, then weave the silk. Some of the garments made out of the silk are amazing, the colours, patterns and intricate detail. ... Su Laoshi for teaching me bus stop! Mike relieved to find me safely with the bus but heartbroken that the ice cold Diet Coke he had managed to procure for me from the cafe I couldn't find had succumbed to the 36 degree heat. Have asked Mike not to lose me again! Government silk factor interesting but not as good as the rickshaw ride through the old streets. Mike a bit wary and feeling guilty ...

... to convey our concern to the front desk brought us a great deal of enjoyment.

We enjoyed our last dinner at the hotel in Kunshan (no dumplings though :( )

Our Chinese friends took us to a rock music club to celebrate our last night.

It was really empty when we got there at 7:30, but after about half an hour it was packed.

The band went on at 9:30 and the singer joked about never performing for this many foreigners.
