... in. The old town is surrounded by a canal and is very cute with old style, low rise buildings, lots of lanterns hanging and boats moving slowly round. Our walking was at a slow pace as it is so picturesque! ... and then promptly realised we had lost Gordon who had been dancing along with his earphones in! Eventually we got hold of him and we all went into the actual garden which was very impressive. There were lakes and ornate bridges and manicured plants. It was very busy but we kept stopping for photos and the Chinese tourist enjoyed taking them of us too! ... Having eaten and bought our scarves we went back to the hostel, stopping for a drink in the bar on our way to bad. This was yet another interesting experience as we walked in and instead of a barman there was a huge white dog behind the bar! After this was rectified with the addition of a man, we were served our drinks and settled in to the sofas to relax.
