    Today was another long and very exhausting day! We went to the Lingyin Si temple complex located about 30 minutes outside Hangzhou. In order to get there we had to drive through some picturesque villages. Hangzhou is also well known to produce the best tea in China and on the way to the temple complex in the mountains we had the change to see the tea terraces were it grows.

    ... pagoda was rebuilt in 1999 and features escalators to the top and elevators that take you to the top. The new pagoda was built on top of the original foundations which they pressured and we are able to see them before going up.

    Next up was a well deserved beak and dinner at a restaurant right next to the pagoda which turned out quite nice. The food was excellent and despite ordering 11 dishes we did not have any left overs!
