Flew to Hanoi from Vientiane. Have sorted out visa on arrival in advance and this all went smoothly and had pick up arranged to our hotel, Hanoi Hotel Gecko so we didn't have to wrestle with the taxi drivers who are notorious here for ripping you off.

We got to Hanoi on Saturday 15th may at 8.30 in morning after our hour and a half or so flight from Bangkok.
