Today we celebrate our 1 month anniversary here. It’s been interesting with its challenges. The last few days have been cooler(20C) and for us, much more comfortable. We actually had to close all our windows. Both of us are pretty much over our colds.

the markets close to the nearby Dalian train station; a wide variety of goods were for sale.
Our passports were returned with our residence permit glued inside. One last formality is to visit the local police station for local registration.

Part of the documentation included a complete medical exam(blood work, x-ray, ECG, eye test, ultrasound, urine, blood pressure) that we had done the week before.
