    ... the 7-mile ride to Onyx Cave. The motorcycle ride down the hill to the cave was awesome, really steep, narrow and twisty. I was looking forward to the ride back up. The cave itself was nice. It looked like a little one man operation, with headsets and self-guided stations explaining the cave. Since it was early, Jody and I had the cave to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed taking our time going through.

    ... found in the 1960's and consequently has very little damage and looks more natural. It's smaller, and is really just a big single room with a 110 foot tall domed ceiling - hence the name. Jody and I both love to visit show caves, and expect to see several more in our travels. Jody was also able to pick up a couple of new rocks to become jewelry projects when we return.

    ... The servers come around and scoop whatever they have right into the middle of the table and everyone digs in. After you pig out on that you get your meal. Many of the dishes are served in giant frying pans. What if you eat all of this and you are still hungry? Lambert's will not allow you to leave hungry.
