... traumatising enough that I have to babble about it just to get it out of my system! I'm just not sure where to start and a bit hesitant too because this whole episode was a bit embarrassing, but if anybody can learn from it, then hey, it is probably worth re-telling. You see Mr Chui had talked to us about yurts and typical Mongolian life. After discussing this with him, Jingyi and I decided we both wanted to stay in an actual yurt if some shepherds were willing to take us in ...

On Friday morning after leaving the train we went to Five Springs Mountain, a national park-like place which has, you guessed it, springs and mountains (and lakes). The place ...

Ugh. Still not sleeping well, and to make matters worse the two ruskies that invaded my cabin seemed to think I wouldn't mind if they had a long, loud chat early in the morning, or whatever the hell time of day it was. I had only just got to sleep, damn them. It probably wouldn't have been so bad had they not been sitting on my bloody bed! Inconsiderate russians. Very little to see for what little remained of the morning, just a few ugly, industrial towns. Still, I ...
