Driving for two hours crammed into a two-door Mustang from Budget Rental at midnight (3am our time) was at the end of a long day of travel. There were no particular holdups- except for the Budget Rental Car experience (a super long wait at the airport to even see a representative, then the refusal to grant the upgrade promised when we reserved the car online). Being surrounded by babies on the late-night flight to Phoenix wasn't even so bad. (It was ...

A travel blog entry by hsmiter1 on Jul 16, 2013

We arrived in Tucson after an extremely long train journey. It is 6.30am (again!) we walk through the little town of Tucson presently surprised at the cleanliness the cute buildings and the artwork. We take some fun photos as John Dillinger (Nicole googles later - bank robber) we find an art mural made of many little disks with children's names on them illustration 'Be Kind'.

The extreme humidity and high heat plus backpacks and the walk along the South Freeway ...
