... games someone sure is losing out on missed revenue....Tom said that for the 15 home games per year the town couldn't afford to add further seating and that the triple A teams only bring in 500 people per game...So although it's a nice stadium..it is one of the smaller ones.

Our destination Monday was to travel into Tampa Bay for an evening hockey game. Left our apt. By 2pm and found ourselves in the heart of downtown very quickly so made a quick decision to hike over to the TB History center . It was wonderfully informative on the history and settling of the city and the surrounding area. The Indians were here when the first invasions from the Spanish occurred in the 1500 s and still much later ...
... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.
Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.
Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.
... around 70-72 F . We decided to drive up the coast to Crystal River. On TV this am it said it was the prettiest retirement community in Florida. And so it is ....We wanted to see manatees but were without luck....they winter in the rivers huddled close together but at this time if year they are dispersing along the rivers...will try again!
