... bay sign had a sticker on it saying "Ken" (mmm???). We traversed the first of many spectacular coastal bridges. Riding into Apalachicola we saw the magnificent Gibson Inn, all wooden, painted white and surrounded by large verandahs full of drinkers. But, the Inn was full and we were sent round to the Rancho Inn (read: first of many dodgy motels) :-) Never mind went back to the Gibson for beers and dinner!!
Heavy rain during the night, and waves really crashing this morning! But the skies cleared and we had a really fun sunny breezy day! We walked all 3 on the beach, lots more people and dogs out walking since the weather cleared! Good walk though and the pack is happy. Star did her first boogie boarding in the waves and had a blast. After days and days on the road, we finally here in Paradise! We crossed into Florida after sooo many days and miles on the road.
