... You can see the lake from almost everywhere in the house. When I walked in today I actually felt an "ahhhh" looking out at the water. This is the only place in which I felt an emotional response on entering the house. I am going to try to rent here on Anna ...

There's a theme here...because it seems to be a 'thing' I'm going to see more off...chilli cook-offs, ribfests, pig jigs...not really the place for me, the veggie, to eat. There's always beer. And monster truck spotting. I can find stuff to look at that doesn't include blackened dead animal... I felt, to start with, a little out of ...

... and well connected boat in the marina, maybe in the whole world. He takes care of us, our captain does! Last but not least, he wears his Captain of Industry hat daily, conducting business meetings and making phone and conference calls. He has a pretty comfy office and you can't beat the view.

If you haven't guessed, we absolutely love this marina and location. Our days are spent waking up when we wish, eating a leisurely breakfast, watching the birds while ...

... opted for shallow, crystal clear waters. I didn't bump into a single man-eating Bull shark. That said, I can't shake the image of a shark that's just like the croc from Peter Pan lurking in the waters off Anna Maria Island, just waiting for that dumb guy with the tasty legs to return.

I'm off to the shark-free Andes tomorrow, though I'm not sure that it's actually much safer (what do you think has higher odds, shark bite in Florida or mugging in ...
