We're anxious to be on our way. Susie and Jerry Fry are driving us to the airport in the morning. Arrive (by way of Detroit) in Rome Sunday morning around 9:00 am. Thought we had the bags packed under weight to meet Air Malta's strict max size, etc. . Packed and repacked. We're cheating a little now because Delta's weight allowance is ...

I put up with it for about 2 hours, in which time I traveled 55 km (usually do at least 200 km in the same time span). A map check was required! ... of the day was the traffic trying to get off the island. Is it always like this? What a nightmare. I don't know how the locals can stand it. We took some side roads but it still took forever to get to the Causeway. Stopped for a few more provisions. Ft. Myers must have the largest Target I have ever seen. Headed back to the hotel for the free dinner, pool time and a workout at the gym. Nice day, pooped and ready for a good night sleep with no ...

... extend its tentacles deeper into the academic inspiration it has always relied on? Should the government tell you where it thinks you should go to school? In communist countries they tell you where to go to school and what to be from a young age. Could Obama's plan be moving us towards this model? Are we OK with that? Who would be the schools to get on the government's recommended school list? Probably some of the cheapest ones. What would these ...
