The day started off again with a lot of sunshine. We're slowly reaching vacation mode. It's getting more difficult to get up in the morning. We quickly agreed upon a beach day. Frustrated.

He jumped out of bed faster than I had ever seen him and dashed to the door. He opened it but the person was gone. I think it was one of our neighbors who had a little too much to drink. Anyway, standard breakfast and then we were off to Sanibel. It was an easy drive to the Causeway Bridge ( reminded me of the ...

... all out with the deserts - a veritable symphony (to use one of the guests phrases) of pecan pie, pumpkin pie, key lime pie, chocolate cake and a vanilla sponge decorated like a festive turkey with a pilgrim hat and everything. Someone made a comment about how this blog seems to contain rather a lot of references to food… e-hem.. yes…
For this plentiful dinner we were most thankful… and full!
