Guesthouse Inn Spokane

Here I am trying to pack for yet another trip. Everything out ready to put 1/2 back....then another 1/2 back in a day or so. The good news is that we have really no restrictions on weight (other than the standard 2-bags at 50lbs each) and neither Southwest nor Mexicana is charging for baggage. No way I'll need that baggage limitation but I still worry about having to carry the stuff around!<br ...

Finally got the truck back, all fixed and running beautifully. Decided to get on the road, though it was already 2 pm. Headed south along Flathead Lake through green forests and valleys to I-90, then west, west, west. All uphill, what a climb, to Coeur d'Alene in Idaho, then downhill into Washington State. Spent almost two hours trying to find Riverside State Park in the city of Spokane, finally set up the camper and tried to settle down for the night.

We got really big icecream sundaes for desert, which just as Angus was walking out the door to go into the motorhome he spilled all on the floor. It was hilarious!! ... LONG drive was (eleven hours), we finally entered Washington, eager to head to our hotel. (Which I got for a steal on priceline.com!) 8:00pm- Quality Inn, Spokane, WA Our hotel was fantastic. ... mind, once we passed the into the States, we were pretty much home free. When Dylan called us on the cellphone to tell us he had made it through as well, we all celebrated. With our spirits high, we decided to squish in and make room for a hitchhiker. We had a nice chat with this Californian called Joe who was hiking around by himself.
