      Lynn and I left Helena for the lake on Wednesday. It was warm when we arrived. When I turned on the outside water valve, I became suspicious, since it was already in the "on" position...not good.

      After leaving Yellowstone via the West Entrance, we decided to make our way north towards our next big destination, Glacier National Park. As we never plan what we are doing more than a 12 hour span, we grabbed the map and scoped out a route that would take us far enough tonight to have an easy drive into Glacier.       It's much quieter today, with many of the guys off to golf and the rest of of spending time on the water, reading or such endeavors. I love this place!

      ... you'll know what I mean. The ski trip, as a result, was only about a mile and a quarter long with virtually no up and down. It's easier to backtrack on the tracks you've made, so tomorrow, especially if it cools down, today's tracks will be just fine. It's totally overcast and the temperature is still 39 degrees.
