... decided they'd come to Branson with us for the afternoon and overnight. Such serendipity! We had ended up parked across from them in Minnesota (totally by accident) just last month!
We enjoyed our time in Branson - used the indoor pool at Treasure Lake (outdoor pool closed Labor Day, despite the 90+ degree temps!), and we had a wonderful evening of entertainment ...

Got up early and started watching the weather channel, also web doppler radar for the area showing rain fall predictions. Left about 1030 with a plan to turn north about 20 miles down the road, just inside of Louisiana. I ended up on a bone straight agricultural road that was just the way I like 'em; smooth new asphalt scarcely traffic'ed.

... large. After lunch we drove down the highway containing most of the tourist attractions but didn’t stop at any. In the historic part of down town Branson we rode the tourist trolley; and then strolled around, going into several stores but buying very little. We did not find any shows that interested us, that were performing today, so we had dinner back at the camper and watched TV.
