Very nice place. Very Clean. Lots of eating establishments close by. Benches and rockers provided outside each room. Nice solid building: and the owner let us park out motorcycles under the overhangs outside each room as there was a bad storm coming.

Then he was outside and a whole gang of wild turkeys came to visit...i'm talking a whole community, maybe about 20 and of all ages, lots of little ones, too. They weren't running crazy like other flicks I have seen in the wild before, they just moseyed over to see what we were doing and then went on their way. What a great morning! The sunshine returned so we got up and out early to catch the 8:30am ferry over to Mackinac Island; we also took our bikes along. Mackinac was so special and to think I didn't even know it existed until yesterday. Coincidently the only Michigan entry in our "1,000 Places to See Before You Die" book was the Grand Hotel which was on Mackinac. Check! There are no autos on this ...

We spent a rainy Tuesday driving up and back down M22, visiting wineries and shopping the boutiques and gift shops. Following dinner at Blue Tractor in Traverse City we traveled back across on 31 to our campsite at Platte River Campground. I am feeling so blessed to be enjoying this time with ...

We left Mosinee, WI this morning, made a stop at Mullens Cheese Shop and drove to Green Bay, WI because Larry wanted to see the Lambeau football arena. From there we went on to Manitowoc, WI, boarding the RV at 2 p.m. Although the forecast was looking stormy and rainy, the weather moved ahead of us and we had clear sailing. The ...
