... of the famous gardens of Suzhou. A number of interesting buildings surrounding a large pond. The names given to the buildings in various places are interesting - the Beauty Within Reach Tower, The Five Peaks Library (named after the rock formation displayed near it), The Moon Comes With The Breeze Pavilion and so on. Some of them are obvious to us, others need a LONG explanation. Greg and David set off to look for the iPhone again. ...

Met after breakfast with Billy and driver to take us to Zhouzhuang Water Town. The driving certainly has us holding our breath at times as we seem to slip into non-existent spaces between vehicles (or other cars, bikes, trucks, etc seem to miraculously avoid collecting us as they merge into ourline of traffic from almost any direction). We showed our slideshow, gave out the certificates, and took lots of pictures.

We shared memories over watermelon and said goodbye for now.

We really have grown fond of our Chinese colleagues and are sad to bid them farewell.

We got a bus back to the hotel in the pouring rain and begun packing up our hotel rooms.

We were distracted by a mysterious alarm and ...

Hello readers! Are you still there? I hope you have been off having fun summer adventures and not sitting around waiting for me to update my blog. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write, but I really have been traveling around all summer. First, way back in June, I went to Canada. I had exactly one month to visit family and friends around BC and Alberta. First, I stayed in Surrey and Abbottsford to visit some friends, then I went to the island to visit some family. Next I ...
