... pepper - a good choice! More shopping - the salespeople sporadically more insistent but generally the quiet day for business had them lulled into a post lunch stupor. We got off fairly lightly.
When we got back to the hotel we just dumped our purchases and had a short window of opportunity to spruce up for the evening. Felt really nice to be able to 'dress up' and everyone out some effort into making it a special night.
