... this cave for the last 42 years. He had done a lot of the discovery and exploration of the newer sections.. His stories were great, Instead of the typical historical and geological stories told by most guides, he was able to tell us about his escapades in the discovery and exploration he had done over these years. Today was a great motorcycle riding and scenery day. The first part of the trip was 160 miles of some of the greatest motorcycle riding so far. Scenic Route 7 is exactly what its name implies. Up and down the Ozark mountains, with twists and turns, a 7% downhill grade and hairpin turns as slow as 15 mph. Topped off with some breathtaking scenic overlooks, and we couldn't ask for a better day.

... than 60 springs around the area, they where said to have "healing water". It was a vibrate hotel for several years, then became a Ladies College during the off months and hotel during the summer months from 1908 to 1934. Then in 1937 it became Baker's Cancer Curing Hotel. That lasted until 1940 when Dr Norman Baker was arrested and sentenced. It seems he was not a Dr. after all. After that it went back to being a hotel. ...

... The servers come around and scoop whatever they have right into the middle of the table and everyone digs in. After you pig out on that you get your meal. Many of the dishes are served in giant frying pans. What if you eat all of this and you are still hungry? Lambert's will not allow you to leave hungry. If you are they will give you another entree at no charge.
