From the first day we heard about family stay, we were all so nervous and scared, we just thought what have we got ourselves into! From the first day we arrived we had this warm feeling that took all that negative thoughts we had away. ... to the one we went into! Am slightly perturbed as do not recognise anything and on strange street. I ask for bus stop but forget to ask for foreign people's bus stop. Set off but then realise my mistake and retrace footsteps whereupon a helpful man realises what I am looking for and sets me off to correct place. I spot our bus and whilst waiting for the others send a private prayer of thanks to my old ...

... obsessed and so much fun. My final stop in Canada was Calgary where I got to visit more family and friends and I met up with my China travel buddy, Tammy. Overall it was a busy month in Canada but I got to see pretty much everyone I wanted to visit, which was great fun. My best friend Tammy decided this summer that she would come to visit me in China, so we planned a three week trip of travel together. She lives in Calgary, so we flew from Calgary to Vancouver then to Shanghai. We ...
