BAD NEWS!
So far everything has been going swimmingly, the right stamps issued by the right departments, just one more to get, and Ted rang to say he wants to meet at Gregs apartment...
The last government department said NO to Teds application to sponsor a Z visa and residence permit application. No explanation, I meet or exceed their requirements, no reasons listed for the declined application... Just No.
So I am on a job hunt again!

Arrival at last.
The landing was a little off, there was a rainstorm flooding the runway as we landed and the plane swayed from side to side as it braked down the runway, I presume the plane was hydroplaning or the puddles were slowing one side more than the other or something, but a very rough and wobbly landing once touched down.

Sleepy Time for Hoopie
Today was my first full day back in Ningbo, China. It's so odd to arrive in such a different foreign place and it not feel like that much has changed. This time around I'm living in another part of town which I don't know that well so I feel lost in the area, but in terms of feeling lost...I think that I've figured it out this time.

The fact is, I didn't see one fifth of what is to be seen at West Lake, and there is more to Hangzhou that just that. It was an extended preview. I want to go back to Hangzhou. I could spend weeks there, just looking at all this historical awesomeness and artfully cultivated natural ...
Big ol' Ningbo Update
... wind on regular basis. The people here are friendly, and the food delicious. I've been spending most of my time eating fruit, good Chinese meals, and hanging out with Forrest. It's been fun. Relaxing. Chinese improving.
