      ... parade and started walking the route backwards until we reached the float then, turned around and walked back. We walked about 5 miles but, it was a lot of fun and our cold weather gear kept us warm. It even snowed some large flurries for a few minutes just to round out the experience.       ... eerie. I love knowing that it is still there and that I will always be a part of that community but I also noticed that I no longer felt that I belonged there all year-round.

      Leaving Massachusetts, I finally felt ready to start the next chapter of my life.
