... Ontario by late afternoon. I can't say for sure how many times I've travelled the 401 across Ontario. Twenty? More? I tried looking at the scenery from the view of a traveller seeing it for the first time. Flat farmlands in southwestern Ontario, fields of tomatoes, beans and corn giving way to the outcrops and slight rolls of the Niagara Escarpment area. From Kitchener to Toronto, the traffic increases not only in volume ...

We sat in our chairs on the river & watched ...

... the Bear's Den on the reserve and were not hungry for a big supper on Saturday, so we ate late at the Rapids - the best fish ever. The next morning we headed off to the pool and hot tub for a slow and relaxing start to the day before having Easter Brunch at the Native Harvest. This was our first time here but it will not be our ...

... I've been warned by the owners we will work 8 til 4:30 and that they always have plenty to do. I found the farm through HelpX. Its similar to WWOOFing but gives you the opportunity to volunteer with a much wider range of opportunities from organic farming to hostel work and pretty much everything in between.

Home is the upper level of a barn with another volunteer, David, who's from the US. He's been working at the farm for a few months already so knows what's ...
