... no doubt that we were in an American home, it felt rather English. Her kitchen had a wooden fireplace with well-used pots and pans hanging around it with a variety of dried herbs (or erb’s as they call them here!) There were also large worn rugs scattered about the living room which from their thread bare age did nothing to keep the iced cold tiles reaching our feet. Brrrrr!

... a little to yesterday. Once the rain stopped the drive was interesting I think my car had a hit me sign on it we couldn't find. First a ladies who never saw is cut Nora off as she decided she liked our lane better and later while I was driving a guy tried to broadside us again guess he also decided he wanted my lane but my horn woke him up. Our Cape Cod experience is quite different to Cape May. While we have bikes available to us we can't cycle as the roads are narrow - no footpaths and no cycle lanes. There are bike trails around the Cape but we can't transport them in our rental car.
We can walk to 2 golf courses, can fish in the pond below our house but must tour by car. We found a really good natural history museum and a walk through ...
