... and very friendly around here. Club activities, a gym, golf course, tennis, baseball, walking trails galore. Very pretty and well maintained. I am super happy for my Dad and Jan as they are in a beautiful house with a nice yard and are so comfortable here.

We are finally home. This is the greatest feeling ever. I finally get to sleep in my own bed and have some of my moms cooking. It was a great trip.

It was an easy drive from Bakersfield to Citrus Heights, which is just outside Sacremento. I arrived late in the afternoon and set up my trailer in front of my Cousin Wade's house. It is convenient to be close to those that I am visiting.
I had a really nice evening visiting with family and getting caught up on everything. Wade fired up the BBQ for a nice steak for dinner.

We drove to Davis for 8 hours, rested up for the ceremony that took place in the Pavilion on campus, and readied ourselves for the moment I had been waiting for for quite some time.
