    As all of you know, I'm completely obsessed with my yellow lab, Charlie-Jack. He won't be joining us on the road (for the time being). We will be flying a lot for the the first few months so we can attend weddings & Jac's graduation in June. Lucky for us, he is in amazing hands with a dear friend of mine.     It's official and the countdown has begun!!! In one week Jacob and I will be hitting the road and starting our adventure as co-workers. Over the next 34 weeks we will be working side by side as mobile marking tour managers for my company MRA experiential tours & equipment.

    I rolled into the Wal-Mart parking lot in Howell, MI right on schedule. Peter was already there, waiting in the parking lot. Having ridden many miles together before there wasn't much we needed to say beyond "ready?" so we headed out immediately, northbound on US-23. Sault Saint Marie, MI was a little over 300 miles away.

    ... called “An All American Boy”. This was a eight or ten year old boy marching along pulling his American Flyer wagon. I also liked the woman who has participated in the parade for twenty years. She rode on the back of a comfortable dressed as the Statue of Liberty. There was even a group of dogs as an entry in the parade. Almost ever parade entry threw candy to the crowd. The best “giveaways” ...
