Hello Everyone,
Well, this is the end of a great journey. We have completed our 2014 Hawaii Adventure, putting 5,110 miles on the car and spending a mere $457 gallons on gasoline...that's less than 9 cents per mile! What a deal! We had food, lodging and other misc. expenses, but the time spent with friends Jan & Ed on the cruise; Donna & Gene in Tucson; Richard in Tucson and ...

... pack our luggage lighter! We'll have to work on that one.

To summarize the trip. We had beautiful weather the whole trip, EXCEPT leaving and returning to Ohio! We crossed fifteen states, spent three days with our Military friends, one week with Beth in San Diego and quality time with Laura, Lee and Emma in Yuma. Gas prices averaged $3.39/gallon and drove 5,840 miles with no incidents. I guess you could say it was GREAT!

Till next time......

We went to the place where my grandparents grew up, so that was neat! We saw Kent university, which is a lovely university in Ohio if you like a bigger kind ...
