... this is actually remote-controlled from Atlanta. Then we took a quick look at the vast Lake Michigan, which was understandably choppy given the fairly strong gusts that give Chicago its nickname.

Walking back through town we spotted a small takeaway with a neon sign claiming ‘Best Italian Beef’. Not having yet sampled this local speciality sandwich, we ordered one ‘dipped’… in gravy = soggy deliciousness!

Today was the Memorial Day holiday so there was no need for either Max or Sarah to be up and about early.
