After a nice long sleep in our tent in Hiawatha Natl Forest of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we are on the road again, and just in time. We missed the rain by about 20 minutes. It raining now, with no hopes of clear sky in sight. It's a perfect driving day to get more miles behind us. We are now at 1103 miles and GPS says 467 miles to go! Mara and are getting a chuckle out of UP MI convenience store supplies....about a dozen different kinds of whiskey ...

... the low 70's. We really enjoyed the day!!
The campground is very nice and reminds us of our Salt Spring days. Lots of permanent residents, at least for the winter, and many of the spaces on the Menominee River, The river is very nice and we were on the Michigan side, the other side of the river is Wisconsin.

This was the 2nd Wedding of the 3 wedding extravaganza. This was a fun one as I was to meet Brian in Iron Mountain while he drove my parents car from Chicago. I had to fly in from NYC after a 1 day meeting for PINK. A little useless in my opinion; but it ain't my money.
