Sat. night, Diego came over & prepared tantalizing roast pork sandwiches & potato salad! Everything--EXCELLENT at the Cocina de Holguin!!! Well, it's a 107 degree goodnight from Weatherford, TX! Our departure is one week away and the anticipation is building. But first final exams are between us and our taxing down the runway for our long flight. Can't wait to eat the freshest sushi on the planet, to take in a sumo match and baseball game, and visit the World Heritage sites that are a testament to the Japanese preservation of history. Wishing everyone the best on your finals and don't forget - PACK LIGHT! Dr. ...

Howdy from stormy Weatherford, Texas. We are having some very nasty weather right now but more on that later. We are fine, by the way.

We began our day at the parking lot of Walmart in Abilene. As I mentioned, it seems to be a very popular spot for truckers and there were far more when we woke up than when I signed off last night. Believe it or not, with all the trucks, lights and noise, we slept pretty well.

After having breakfast we headed to ...
