Travel is never easy being a Colvert. Our flight from Denver-OKC was delayed an hour which meant we didn't catch our plane from Denver-Bozeman. If the guy could've attached the ladder to the plane we would have made the flight instead of running across the airport to get to the gate as the plane was backing out. Cloudy this morning. Cheryl and I headed to White Sulfur Springs leaving Buffalo in our rear view mirror. Pulled into a farmers RV Park about 16:00 (4:00PM) the clouds decided to do their thing, lots of thunder and lightening. Found the local cafe and had Walleye, that was good. Got back to the Palace on Wheels and crashed. Another long day of driving 356 miles. ...
Leaving Yellowstone NP today we saw a grizzly bear with 2 cubs along side the road what a tremendous experience this was indeed a highlight. David managed to get a photo ;)
Stopped at White Sulfur Spring to have lunch, small town.

Set off to explore the northern area of Yellowstone.
Stopped at Tower Falls then drove along a dirt road to Blacktail Plateau ( not very exciting) however it was different.
Next was Mammoth Hot Springs. This was the highlight of the day we spent a couple of hours walking the boardwalks from one colorful hot spring to another.
Totally amazing colourful landscape with brilliant yellows, oranges, greens and vivid white rock formations.
